You know this old saying? March comes in like a lion; goes out like a lamb. Well, I'm switching it around this year.
It seems the gentle lambs of early March slipped right past me this year, quiet as can be, nudging their way through the days, and now here it is already, almost April. So where are the lions? Watching the boys tear outside on a recent warm, sunny morning, I feel a bit like the zookeeper releasing the cats from the cage after a long winter's seclusion.
Spring is so close we can taste it. Ben's already ditched his shoes for barefoot tromps around the yard & Kyle simply refuses to get near his coat, insisting that Spring is here now (never mind the dip into the 40's today from 70's on Sunday). Hey, once you've tasted freedom, there's no going back...I couldn't put these cats back in the bag if I tried.
Enjoy your spring -- even if it is still 40 degrees!
